Assign Nights — type initials into a night to plan it, or click one of the chips below the box to assign that person directly (click the same chip again to clear it). Typing a single letter that uniquely matches one provider (by first or second letter, e.g. "P" → PH, "V" → JV) auto-completes. Nights already on the live Google Calendar are locked (read-only). Filling in a Friday auto-fills Saturday, Sunday, and the Monday that starts that same week (5 days earlier, not the Monday after) with the same initials if they're still empty — edit any of them afterward to override. A chip (or the ⚠ glyph next to the box, hover for details) is flagged orange if assigning that person there would mean an unrecognized or call-ineligible provider, someone already marked away that date, more than one Mon–Thu call for the same person in a week, a weeknight right after a weekend they covered, or a weekend without at least two free weekends before or after their last one — flagged chips still work, they're not blocked, since a real override is sometimes correct.

Live Tally — counts every night currently in this plan (not just the range shown above), reset each January 1 like the live site's real tallies — a separate table appears per calendar year your plan touches. "So far this year" is read from the live site's already-confirmed tallies for the current year, for reference only — it isn't added into the plan's own counts.
